For those of you who are silently screaming, "If I have to stay after school for one more training, I'll ..." or you can't afford to give up another planning period, or, Heaven forbid, you can't sleep because school is on your mind, you can now do your lab refresher training on line. If you have an internet connection, you can access the training information any time from school or home. What it involves:Read through the information and then take the on line assessment at the end of the lesson. The assessment will be e-mailed to me, and when I have received all your assessments, I will put your name in the database, and you can begin scheduling classes into the labs. It's just that easy, and just that quick. I will send you a confirmation that I have received your e-mails and that I have put your name in the Lab Scheduler database. The Process:Just click on the lesson you want to take, and you will be zapped to that page (Do the Wireless Lab last because that assessment is culminating and requires that you have information from the other lessons.). When you are ready for the assessment, just follow the directions given at the end of the lesson. Be sure to put your name on your assessment and your e-mail address. I can't put your name in the database if I don't know whose e-mail I am reading. The Assessment Questions:When it comes to assessment we are no different from our students: we tend to experience a wave of panic or at the least, a little bit of anxiety when we hear the words "quiz," "test," or "assessment." Trust me! The questions aren't hard, although you do need to read the material; the assessments center on basic information you need to know in order to have a successful lab experience. Two of the assessments are true-false; the final assessment requires you to solve some typical problems that you are likely to run into when you are in the lab or scheduling the labs. If you have questions about or problems with the assessments, you can always call me(2004) or e-mail me. So relax, grab a Coke and click on the session of your choice to begin. Remember, the wireless session should be your last. |
