When a student does not meet one of the
classroom behavior expectations, the following plan will be put into action:
First
Offense: Teacher will give a verbal reprimand and
reteach correct
behavior.
Second
Offense: Warning and Conduct Mark, Discipline Report
will be filled out and given to the student’s grade level team leader. The
student may receive a time out and an assignment that allows them to reflect on
their actions.
Third
Offense: Conduct Mark and Parent/Guardian Contact.
Discipline Report will be filled out and given to the student’s grade level team
leader. The student may again receive a time out and a reflective assignment.
Fourth
Offense: Conduct Mark and Corrective Action, such as
after-school detention. Discipline Report filled out and given to team leader.
Fifth
Offense: Conduct Mark and Administrative Action.
Conduct
Grade
The student’s
conduct grade will be assigned based on the following scale:
0 Conduct
Marks: Outstanding
1-3 Conduct
Marks: Satisfactory
4-6 Conduct
Marks: Needs Improvement
7 or More
Conduct Marks: Unsatisfactory


Students will earn
Orchestra Cash and Points for their
Panther Cards on a weekly basis when they
receive 0 conduct marks and show a good attitude in class. Orchestra Cash can
be used at
our Music
Market or for Orchestra Cash Auctions. Panther Cards will be used for school-wide rewards and prizes.
