Barrage Concert and Ticket Information August 20, 2009 Dear Orchestra Parents, We have a very special opportunity this year! Fayette County Schools have partnered with Transylvania University to bring in the musical sensation BARRAGE to Lexington on September 16, 2009. The concert will take place at 7:30pm at Haggin Auditorium on the campus of Transylvania University. Some of our middle and high school students will even get to perform onstage with the group! Even though FCPS and Transylvania have been very generous in their financial support, there is a cost to seeing Barrage perform. Student tickets are $10 each and Adult tickets are $15. This is a huge savings though, as seeing Barrage perform usually costs three or four times that! All of our tickets will be in a block, so friends may sit together with parents in the same section. Tickets sold at the door will be further back and not in our block, so order your tickets now for the best seats! Students performing with Barrage also need to purchase tickets. More information will be sent home soon regarding permission slips and details of the rehearsal day with Barrage members. This performance is highly encouraged, but it is not a mandatory event.
