Why Take Physics?


 

A course in physics will give students a powerful way to look at and understand the world around them.

Most colleges require entering students to have had either chemistry or physics in high school.

A course in physics can be the beginning of a career in science or an important building block for many  professions.

Taking physics helps students develop computer skills that are applicable in many situations.

Advanced Physics counts toward the commonwealth diploma.

Taking physics in high school will help students survive college physics- a major difficulty for many pre-med majors.

At Henry Clay if you do not take Physical Science you must take Chemistry and Physics.
