Morton Middle School has  6th,7th, and 8th Grade Chorus Classes and Orff Ensembles. The groups performed for the National Orff Schulwerk Conference, the Kentucky Music Educators Conference, the Kentucky Ballet Theatre, Regional Asian Music Conference, the Southern Division of the Music Educators National Conference, and various television networks.

Morton presents a musical each year and some past productions include:

• Pirates of Penzance

• Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.

• Into the Woods, Jr.

• Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.

• Guys and Dolls, Jr.

• How to Eat Like a Child

• School House Rock, Jr.

The Morton Middle Speech Team has earned many team and individual trophies and is consistently ranked in the top teams in the state.
