F-2 News You Can Use

                          September 17-22

·        Hope you got a chance to enjoy that beautiful weather on Saturday. Even though the sunshine tried to lure me away, I spent the day washing, cleaning, sewing, and working. It’s kind of fun sometimes just staying inside!

·        Picture Day! Picture Day! Yes, Picture Day will be here soon. It is on Thursday, September 20. Don’t forget to wear a big smile to school!

·        The GRADE test went well last week. The students will take a new assessment this week called Learning Checks. It allows teachers all over Fayette County the chance to see what their students have learned so far.

·       The students in F-2 have many of our classroom routines memorized. As they bring home graded work, please check over it.  Most papers have been completed in class. There are times, however, when either a page is not completed or the student did not master the skills. This work should be completed and returned to school the next day. So many of you are doing just that already!

·       Don’t forget! Parents Arts Day is Monday, September 24. Come to school and learn about art right along with your child.
