                F-2 News You Can Use

                       October 15-19

·         It was great seeing so many parents attending Open House last Thursday. Didn’t the students in our complex do an awesome job presenting their special program?

·        Parents/Guardians who attended Open House also signed up for a conference time with me. Yesterday, I sent a letter home with students of the families that do not have a conference time. Check with your youngster if you didn’t receive the letter yesterday. I will need them back tomorrow in order to schedule you in.

·        School is closed on Thursday and Friday of this week.

·        Remember to order your school pictures. I will let you know when the last day to order will be.

·        Next week is Red Ribbon Week. Thanks to Mrs. Shackelford (Halleigh’s mom) for help with this great project. What better way to educate or children on being drug free, than through their participation in the special activities planned at school.

·        Once again families are asked to help each classroom fill a basket to be auctioned during our school’s Fall Festival. Won’t you please help our classroom? Our theme is Home Sweet Home. We are in need of items that are useful in the home. Please donate items such as picture frames, willow baskets, cozy quilts or throws, step stools, floral arrangements, etc. Many families in other complexes are checking with neighborhood stores to see if they will donate gift cards, etc. We could also use big items such as a hope chest or comfy chair. Please, please help. We want our wonderful class to be well represented. A big thank you to Mrs. Washington (Haley’s mom) for sending in three items already!

Hats off to…

·        Alexa Garner, our newest Student of the Month in Fantastic F Complex!
