F-2 News You Can Use  

                               October 8-12

·          I had to do a “happy dance” in school this past Friday because every single child had completed their Nightly Reading Task. Yey! Yey!, Tey!  and double yey!

·         Picture orders are in your child’s take home folder.

·         We look forward to seeing you at Open House on Thursday, October 11. I hope that you are planning to attend. The children in our complex will be presenting a special program to their parents and guardians!

·         I will be setting aside time this month to conference with all families about your child’s progress in school. You will receive their report card at that time. Look for more information to come home next week.

·         Gentlemen, save time next week to come and have breakfast with your child. Our annual Breakfast With Your Best Man will be held on two days instead of one. If your last name begins with the letters A-M, your date is Tuesday, October 16. If your last name begins with the letter N-Z, your date is Wednesday, October 17.

·         The teachers in Fantastic F Complex are asking each child to bring in a long sleeved shirt, jacket, sweatshirt, or polo type shirt to school. The shirt will not be altered in any way, and will be returned to your child on Friday, October 12.

Hats off to…

·          all of the students in F-2 for remembering to complete their nightly reading last Thursday. We were thrilled to see on Friday that everyone turned theirs in.

·         Haley Washington, because she was the first student to bring an item in for our silent auction basket.

·         Allison Shell. Alexa Garner, and Haley Washington because they were the first students to be invited to our Hard Work Café. I thoroughly enjoyed dinning with them today!
