F-2 News You Can Use

                                          August 27-31

·         The flowers at my house were a lot happier this weekend.  I squeezed in some much needed time to give them lots of tender, loving care, and a little water, too!  I hope you found time this past weekend  do something to make someone (or something happy).

·        Many thanks to all of you for taking time to sell wrapping paper for our school. The money received will be used to purchase books, equipment, math supplies, and other important items for. Our class could even win a pizza party!

·        Many families have already joined the PTA here at Dixie Magnet. If you haven’t joined already, “Come on down”!

·        Your child should have brought home language arts homework today.  All homework should be turned in on Friday of each week. In the future, language arts homework will be sent home on Fridays.

·        The students will have a social studies test on Thursday, August 30. The have a study guide that will help them.

·        Buster the Safety Bus will visit our school on Wednesday, August 29.

·        Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for sending in the money for Scholastic News and the Student Agendas!
