F-4 Update

For the parents who ordered books from Scholastic, I am very sorry about the slow process. The books were ordered late, and then when the books were sent, they were sent to the wrong classroom. Hopefully, we have all books where they belong. If there is still a conflict, please let me know.

Thanks to all of the parents for the wonderful conferences! If there is ever a time when you want to discuss your child’s education, feel free to call, email, or stop by for a visit. I will be more than happy to discuss their progress.

Parents, it will be greatly appreciated if the Take-Home Folders were cleaned out. This will make it easier for Mrs. Kikuchi to distinguish the difference between homework and other papers.

Important News

Please remember that the holiday season is approaching. At Dixie, we are going to keep as normal routine as possible. However, we are going to sit aside special time for the students. I know that around this time of year families will be leaving town or having family members come in. Although, this is the case, I would really appreciate if the students can make it to school. We do have special events planned for the next couple of weeks. Here is a list of activities we will have next week:

*Tuesday, December 11= Bring a stuffed animal of your choice

*Wednesday, December 12= Bring your favorite book

*Thursday, December 13= Bring your favorite game (Sorry, no electronic games allowed!)

*Friday, December 14= Pajama Day (Please do not wear your slippers to school, but feel free bring those and change when you get here)

Winter Break

This is a reminder that the last day of school is Wednesday, December 19th. Classes will resume January 2nd. I hope everyone has a nice, safe holiday season and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2008.
