Testing is Over!! We finally have our room back! For the past two weeks, the third graders have been taking their CATS test, and we had to be kicked out of our room. We’ve been having classes in the cafeteria, along with some special activities that Mrs. Curtis has planned for us. Although it’s been fun, I know we are all looking forward to a regular schedule next week. (Homework will also resume next week!)
Hats for DerbyF-Complex is asking all students to wear hats for the Derby tomorrow. Straw hats, beach hats, baseball hats, etc. are accepted.Field Trip We will be having our last field trip on May 28th to Fort Harrod in Harrodsburg. Please check your calendars now to see if you can chaperone. The more parents, the better! J Big Thanks!I want to thank all of you who sent in snacks. They are MUCH appreciated! It really helped our kids make it to lunch without their bellies gumbling.Important News for Parents and Guardians** Field day will be May 22nd. The rain date is May 27th. ** Reading Day at Dixie will be May 23rd. ** The fifth level play will be at 8:00 A.M. on May 28th. ** The last day of school will be May 30th. ** We love to see parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and guardians at lunch time! Please feel free to come and eat with your child at 10:45. Lunch is $3.25 for adults. Please take note that it is school policy that no outside food from restaurants (like McDonald’s) is allowed at Dixie.
