Independent Writing

10% of student’s final grade

Writing pieces will be:

·        Reflective (focusing on personal growth and contributing factors)

·        Personal expressive (focusing on personal experiences and personal relationships)

·        Transactive (real-life, authentic writing)

·        Literary (focusing on entertaining)

Each writing piece must be typed or hand-printed in blue or black ink; they must be double-spaced and only on one side of the paper.  Students MUST revise and edit each writing piece.
