2009 Pentathalon Results

This year's pentathalon saw sunshine, rain and a school record broken not once, but twice by veteran runner Gabe Baczkowski (10:50.1) and newcomer Sam Stucky (10:26.4).  Both PR'd in multiple events as the pentathalon is run as a series that includes the 1600, 100, 800, 200 and 400 meter races.  The bronze went to another outstanding performer Ross Wilson who posted a pentathalon sub 11 PR 10:54.5, just a second and a half off last years record held by Ben Armbruster (10:53).

Congratulations to our TOP 3 finishers, for complete results click here

LIVE TO RUN & RUN TO LIVE
The long term benefits of running are undeniable.  When done with a healthy dose of daily stretching and proper diet it can add strength, drive and perspective to anyone's life.  The best thing about running, it can be done almost anywhere and at anytime; with the exception of a decent pair of shoes, no special equipment required.

Make running apart of your life, find out where local running is happening and get involved.  Click on the John's Run/Walk Shop icon
